From the early days performing at the roller rink playing ‘That’ll be the Day’ and ‘Peggy Sue’ to the recording sessions with Decca and Coral, Danny takes you through the music of Buddy Holly in a way that can entertain any audience young or old.

The show is packed with all the hit songs, Maybe Baby, Everyday, True love ways, Heartbeat, Not Fade Away, Think it over, It doesn’t matter anymore…

Danny also covers music from friends of Buddy’s including, Elvis Presley, Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper, Dion and The Belmont’s, Chuck Berry, Bill Hayley and the Comets and the Everly Brothers.

The Buddy Holly Forever show consists of two 45 minutes sets comprising of all the songs you loved from the era. One set comprises of pure Buddy and the other is made up of authentic Rock ‘n’ roll hits. ​


The Man Behind the Glasses

Danny Gill first started performing as Buddy in 2010 in his home town in the West Midlands out of love for Buddy’s music, today he’s bringing his music further afield to venues far and wide with his touring band and solo show.

Danny Gill has performed all over the world, most recently touring Cyprus with his solo buddy show, and was part of 2 Award Winning tribute bands in the National Tribute Awards 2018.  As a musician, Danny’s previous clients include, P&O, Warner Leisure, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Haven, Help for Heroes, Next and Butlins.

He lives with his wife freelance artist and photographer, Becky (who also helps with some behind the scenes business at Buddy HQ!) in Derbyshire.
